Czechs have always liked to eat. Czech women have been renowned as excellent cooks, one of the reasons probably being that their art is based on traditional recipes, nourishing ingredients and time-proven practices, passed in families down the generations. Dishes such as kulajda soup, tenderloin in cream sauce, potato pancakes and buns are prepared not only in Czech households, but also more and more often in the best restaurants around the country. Thanks to this fact, foreign visitors can also be persuaded of the qualities of Czech traditional cuisine. This book has been prepared for those who have tasted Czech cuisine and who cannot do without it any more.
