Double bill of documentaries about rock legend John Lennon. 'Imagine' (1988) pieces together the life and musical career of Lennon from his tough childhood in Liverpool to his post-Beatles solo success. Exclusive interviews, archive news footage and performance clips flesh out the story. 'Gimme Some Truth' (2000) goes behind-the-scenes of the 1971 'Imagine' album. Lennon and wife Yoko Ono are shown at work and at play, recording tracks with the likes of Lennon's former Beatles colleague George Harrison.
