In the Shallows recenzia

From the acclaimed author of Afterlove comes a sapphic love story about the call of the sea, and the power of home. New Year's Day: A girl is brought to shore by fisherman - wild dark eyes, dark curls made darker and wilder by skin so pale she looks like an unfinished canvas. She knows she is called Nico, but other than that, she has no memory of why she was in the sea, or what came before. Reunited with her ex-girlfriend Mara, the pair try to uncover the mystery of what happened to lead to the accident. But there could be a reason Nico has locked everything behind a door. One day, she's going to be brave enough to open it, and what will happen to her then? What will happen to them? A beautiful YA mystery about two girls finding out the truth about the past... and the start of a brand new story together...
